Get $. Get $hrimp. De-vein the shrimp. Butterfly the shrimp. Melt butter. Then add the Lemon Juice. Soak the shrimp and keep the butter/lemon juice handy. Get the grill to medium hot, being careful to keep the shrimp from sticking to the grill by using a grilling screen or other method. Put the shrimp on the grill so the cut side is down. Lightly baste. Sprinkle the salt and garlic on the shrimp. Cook side one until you see the meat is white, flip the shrimp. (Takes only about 3 minutes unless grill is not hot enough.) Turn shrimp over. Place the optional items in thin strips into the butterfly's cut center, lightly sprinkle salt/garlic, easy on the garlic. Baste the rest of the butter/lemon juice being careful not to get it ignited and finish cooking the shrimp (should only be a couple minutes on side two. Hint-precook bacon strips to get the fat nice and crunchy. Call me over.
