Teen Sunday School

Sunday Schools have gotten the reputation of focusing more on youthful entertainment, since it has become so commonlace to see teen education programming that involve 90% "fun activities" and 10% of actual scriptural teaching. This is because so many adult Christians are convinced that the Gospel and study of the tenets of the faith must, by their very nature, be boring.

WE DISAGREE

In fact, we believe that teens are so capable of grasping some pretty complex understandings of Christian faith, we have decided to prove it, and we do every Sunday! Why? Because IT'S INTERESTING!

Current Teen Education Series:

The Teens are being led by Jonathan Trebilco, a student at Cranmer Theological House, in studying for CONFIRMATION, which will take place the last Sunday of October.

  • Why is scripture considered "infallible"?
  • How do we know we should believe in "One God, Three Persons"?
  • Why don't "good works" get us into heaven?
  • Are the Ten Commandments still in vogue?
  • Do people still believe in creeds, such as the Apostles' Creed?
  • How do we pray (the Lord's Prayer)?
  • And what about the sacraments?  How many are there, and what are they?
  • These are just some of the great questions that get answered in this series. Intelligent education and excited discussion, questions, and interjections are the norm.
