Ground Rules for the Book Club
1) Anyone is welcome to come whether a member of St. Francis or not.
2) Anyone can come just for the Supper Hour or just for the Book Club if
you don’t want to come to both.
3) Only those who have read the book under consideration or some other
book by the same author may participate in the discussion of the
book.
4) During the Book Study, please limit your comments to the book under
consideration, or occasionally to other works by the same author.
5 After the Book Study is completed, the floor will be opened to anyone
who wants to participate, even if you have not read anything by the
current author.
6) Once the floor is open to everyone, pertinent comments on topics
related to the book but not necessarily from the author are welcome
from anyone.
7) Feel free to invite friends to join us.
8) Book Club proper will start between 7:00 and finish usually by 8:30, but
in no case later than 9:00
